JOB SUMMARY 

The nurse works in partnership with the family physicians and other members of the health care team to provide comprehensive primary health care to our patient population according to established standards and practices. The nurse focuses on providing assessment, screening, healthy lifestyle support, education and chronic disease management with a goal of improving health outcomes and facilitating access to services. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Triage and assess clients to identify appropriate nursing interventions. 
  • Assess the immunization status of all patients and ensure immunizations are current. 
  • Document accurate and pertinent patient information in a timely manner, including maintaining a comprehensive health summary or patient profile. 
  • Provide and co-ordinate screening for health issues such as diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, cancer screening, cardiovascular health, mental health, cognitive function and osteoporosis. 
  • Utilize all health-care encounters as an opportunity to identify educational needs and provide health education (e.g., immunizations, screening, health lifestyle) 
  • Monitor and maintain infection control practices according to established standards. 
  • Advance primary care nursing through participation in professional development and practice development activities, mentoring students, orientating staff and participating in quality assurance initiatives. 
  • Perform first-aid treatment on emergency cases; make the initial assessment and direct client to physician or nurse practitioner according to the degree of urgency. 
  • Assist and/or perform medical procedures (e.g. ear irrigation, immunization, allergy shots, injections, IV therapy, dressing, suture removal, etc.) according to standards of practice.  

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Registered Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario 
  • Current membership with the RNAO
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Computer literacy: MS Word, Outlook, EMR and Internet.
  • The ability to plan, organize and prioritize, and foster a work environment conducive to the well-being of patients and staff.

Reporting:

  • Receive referrals from medical and other healthcare practitioners and consult with these referring practitioners to provide timely and optimal care for their patients
  • Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research
  • Complete and maintain all necessary documentation as per act and professional standards
  • Secure resources by preparing reports, competing application forms/letters as required

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree or College Diploma of advanced Chiropody or equivalent
  • Member in good standing with College of Chiropodists of Ontario

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Social Service Work
  • Registered and member of Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (level 3) within the last six months
  • Bilingual preferred (French and English) 
  • A minimum of 2-years experience providing services in a community or primary health care setting preferably
  • Exceptional knowledge and understanding of current, evidence based and best practice guidelines of social services system and resources

Position Title: Rehabilitation Clinic Receptionist

Job Status: Part time

Reporting to the Clinic Manager or designate, the Rehabilitation Clinic Receptionist is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of clinical operations, which includes greeting clients, managing files, answering phones, booking appointments, providing knowledge-based opinions, managing insurance claims, increasing repeat business as well as being the right-hand in all things governing the smooth operations of the clinic. The successful candidate must be a great communicator, well-organized, and a quick thinker. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with a strong background in Human Resources (HR), Payroll, and Accounting Software to join our dynamic team. This role bridges finance, payroll, and accounting, providing valuable insights into workforce costs, compensation strategies, benefits analysis, financial reporting, and budget planning. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial modeling, payroll processing for multiple clients, and compliance to support business decisions and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial models to assess workforce costs, forecasting trends, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Manage payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Monitor HR and payroll-related financial metrics and provide insights to senior management.
  • Support compensation and benefits analysis, ensuring alignment with industry benchmarks and company strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with Ontario employment laws, payroll regulations, tax requirements, and multi-client payroll processing best practices.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to track payroll, and financial KPIs.
  • Assist in financial statement preparation, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Provide support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure proper journal entries related to payroll and HR expenses.
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting or Finance and Accounting designation (CPA or CMA) is an asset.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, payroll processing for multiple clients, and HR functions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR-related financial metrics, compensation structures, and payroll analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll, and accounting systems (e.g., RISE People, Multiview ERP, ADP, Ceridian, QuickBooks).
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of Ontario labor laws, payroll regulations, tax compliance, and multi-client payroll management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and leadership teams.
