Capital Wellness Clinic is currently hiring a Part-Time Chiropractor. Responsibilities

  • Consult with patients regarding their medical history and reason(s) for visit
  • Patient-centered care plan focusing on overall health and wellbeing
  • Perform clinical assessments and implementation of active treatment plans
  • Ensure patient files and health history is up to date with the most current information
  • Continuous evaluation of patient progress

Qualifications

  • Registration with the Provincial College of Chiropractors (CCO)
  • Experience treating patients in a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation setting with 1-3 years of work experience as a Chiropractor
  • Bilingualism- English/French is an asset but not required
  • Current Professional Liability Insurance

Responsibilities:

As a member of our team you will be responsible for:

  • Initiating and managing the assessment and treatment for restoring movement/function, orthopaedic conditions and pain management;
  • Providing physiotherapy to outpatient residents in long-terms care, retirement home and assisted living setting
  • Developing a personalized treatment program that includes but is not limited to exercise, manual therapy and home exercise program.
  • Prescribing and educating clients utilization of mobility aids, assistive devices and other equipment;
  • Overseeing Physiotherapy Support Personnel (PTA).

Date of Commencement: As soon as possible.
