Chiropodist

Work with the physicians and other Allied Health Professionals of the BWFHT to treat patients in a variety of ways including the use of braces, casts, shields, orthotic devices, physical therapy or surgery. The primary focus of the Chiropodist will be to work to help patients eliminate foot pain, gain mobility and maintain healthy feet. The chiropodist is part of the clinic’s Diabetes chronic disease management program.

Physician Locum

ByWard Family Health (BWFHT), formerly University of Ottawa Health Services (UOHS), offers a comprehensive range of services to the University of Ottawa students, faculty, staff, and the general public. Our doctors see their patients in offices across three floors of the ByWard Family Health Team located at 100 Marie Curie, and the in the clinic located at 316 Rideau St.

We are committed to delivering timely, quality and collaborative assessment, treatment and health promotion, in a supportive and caring environment that is open and transparent to social, ethnic, and income factors.

We are looking to fill a family medicine locum placement starting January 1, 2022 for a 3-6 month period. The locum would fill approx. 5-6 shifts per week at $450/half day shift, no overhead.

The successful candidates must be licensed to practice in Ontario. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to inter-professional care are essential. Bilingual (French/English) is an asset. Lastly, experience in a high-volume setting would also be an asset.

ByWard Family Health (BWFHT), formerly University of Ottawa Health Services (UOHS), offers a comprehensive range of services to the University of Ottawa students, faculty, staff, and the general public. BWFHT operates busy clinics open to University of Ottawa students, faculty and staff, other patients registered to a BWFHT family physician as well as members of the general public.

We are committed to delivering timely, quality and collaborative assessment, treatment and health promotion, in a supportive and caring environment that is open and transparent to social, ethnic, and income factors.

We are looking for Physicians to take on a FHO practice.

Criteria for this opportunity are as follows:
The successful candidate must be licensed to practice in Ontario;
Bilingual (English and French) is a strong asset;
Commitment to take on the entire practice as-is (significant RAMQ population in all BWFHT practices);
Participation in FHO after-hours evening and weekend coverage in addition to regular clinical time as per BWFHT FHO procedures;
Recognition that BWFHT FHO is affiliated with BWFHT FHT and therefore, patients will have access to FHT Nurse Practitioners, other Allied Health Practitioners and CDMP Programs;
Previous, demonstrated experience in administrative, governance or clinical leadership roles. Interest and/or commitment (in the absence of experience) will be given consideration;
Sub-specialties and/or unique skills/experience that provide added value to BWFHT FHO will be given consideration;
Ability to start practice within a reasonable timeframe;
Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to inter-professional care are essential.
Experience in a high-volume setting would be an asset.

Walk-in Physicians – Shifts Available – Downtown Ottawa Opportunity

The Campus Same-day Clinic is a busy clinic open to University of Ottawa and St. Paul University students, faculty and staff.

We are looking to fill several “walk-in” shifts on a regular or casual basis. Available shifts vary, however the campus clinic hours are: weekdays 8 am to 8 pm and weekends 9 am to 12 pm. The successful candidate must be licensed to practice in Ontario. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to inter-professional care are essential. Lastly, experience in a high-volume setting would be an asset.

We are recruiting an Occupational therapist to participate in the clinical training of occupational therapy students and collaborate on the various projects of the Interprofessional Clinic at Perley Rideau. Under the management of Ontario Partners in Health (OPiH), the Interprofessional Clinic provides rehabilitation, prevention and health promotion services to the people of Ottawa and surrounding areas.
