Clinical Management

The diverse and complex nature of the services we provide and the populations we serve, including a diverse group of health care providers, means that OPiH has become expert in the development of clinical processes and work flows.

Human Resources Management

Our HR team maintains a comprehensive Human Resources Policies and Procedures Manual for all employees and staff working at various client sites. In addition to regular continuing education in human resources management, the department also consults with outside resources (legal firms, HR Advisors, Health and Safety, etc.) on a regular basis and when needed for specific situations.

Project Management

Continued expansion has brought a number of complex projects requiring OPiH to develop significant project management expertise.

Facilities Management

OPiH manages over 50,000 square feet of space with a variety of vocations (clinical, administrative, etc.), making facilities management a significant part of our operational mandate.

Government Relations

As an operator of a Family Health Team, OPiH deals extensively with the Primary Care Branch of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care of Ontario. We submit regular quarterly reports in addition to an annual report, budget submission and annual Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) in accordance with the Excellent Care for All Act (ECFAA).
